Season of finding strength in God alone.

Greetings to My family and friends,

I want to take this time in sharing how God has been using me lately in this north region. This past month has been the hardest month for me. A lot of sad things took place this month. This past month our team mates have gone through the hardest time in their lives, Amar my friend and my leader has just lost his father who had been suffering from cancer form 3 years. I had the privilege to be with him and his family and able to encourage and support Amar during this painful time. Please keep praying for this family to find the courage and that they will not give up hope that they have in Jesus.

Kanta who is like my older sister and a really good friend of mine also has just lost her mother. Some of our team mates were able to spend some time with her and her family during this hard time. Please do keep Kanta and her family also in your prayers so that they will be strong in the lord and love him and that they will have courage also.

This is the 3^rd death that took place in this month was my best friend grandfather. It was a really hard time seeing him suffer and not able to breathe very well. I was with him for a week in the hospital helping them him out and his grandfather. God gave me one of the best opportunities in the world to pray for him and bring joy into his life by living and serving just as Jesus served the sick people around him.

 At the same time I was able to share the love of Jesus with him and give him the clear idea of what I believe in and how I let Jesus into my life and seeing a great change in me. I was really blessed after 2 years of prayer and just asking God to give me the courage to share the love of Jesus with him I was able to do it and at last I prayer for him.

I know that these 3 death that took place this past month has been a very heavy time for all of us as a team as well as personally also, please keep us in your prayers so that we will have the strength and courage to keep standing strong in what we believe and that we will be able to keep sharing and pouring out the love of Jesus with every one around us.

We also hosted a local team this past month and it brought joy to our hearts to have Christian friends around us when we were going through a hard time.

I know God is using me in a strong way to keep giving my best to these local people as well as to keep pouring him with all my heart especially during this season cause he draws near to the broken hearted.

Psalm 34:18

¹⁸ The Lord is close to the broken-hearted
    and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

The kids at our tuition center are also having their final exams so please keep them also in your prayers that they will give their best and finish the race that they have started.

This past month I have also been able to spend time with some people and listen to their stories and been able to pray for them. One of the main strong holds in this area is drinking and gambling there are many families that are really broken hearted because of their husbands always drinking and wasting all the money that they have earned in gambling. Many of the guys in the families are following their fathers foot steps into being irresponsible sons and just don’t care for anybody but themselves. Please join with me in prayers and ask the Living God to break down this stronghold from this place.

I am really blessed to see how God will be moving and bring a great revival into this region.

Here are a few prayer points:

1.       Please pray for the 3 families that are going through a hard and a low season of their lives.

2.       Please pray for my friend with whom I got a great chance to share the gospel with, please pray for him to keep asking about Jesus and to have a hunger for the gospel.

3.       Please pray for my team as our leaders are going through this time that we will be extra helpful to them and that we can keep encouraging them.

4.       Please pray for the strong holds that I have shared in the update that God will have mercy on these people and break off these chains.

5.       Please pray for me as I am building the kingdom of God and that I will be able e to give my best and not to give up.
