I really don't know where and how to start.
I have been home for two months after being away for five months. It has been so refreshing to be back home with my beloved family. It also has been a humbling experience and (getting back on track)- to follow Him completely regardless the cost. I'm super happy and pumped up for this upcoming journey that God has set before me. I'm going to miss my beautiful family so much. I thank and praise God for everyone who has made an impact in my life. It's going to be hard to say good-bye. . .
Camp-Fearless, a week ago - was a huge highlight for me this month. Fear- from two point of views, a) Fear Everything And Run and b) Face Everything And Rise. This was the word my brother gave me when my mom and brothers were praying over me. I saw Abraham's life story and how he faced his fears and obeyed God faithfully without hesitating. I truly feel like this is what God has been teaching me after I graduated from Discipleship School (YWAM).
I'm leaving home Tuesday the 22nd and will be traveling for more than 40 hours straight. I'm super-excited that the time has come for me to step out, but at the same time, I'm really nervous and sad to leave the place where I'm most comfortable and safe. God has been working my life and teaching to step out of my comfort zone and be obedient to the call like my forefather Abraham did.
I will be joining with four others and helping out a lot with the villagers and ministering to their kids. My heart belongs to these precious kids and I totally love and adore these young minions. The team and I will be serving and helping the people in the village with any needs required. I have been praying and am committed to serve God in North India for two years. We have a small Church in the area close by and will be building relationship with the people and praying that we would find favor in His eyes.
Prayer requests-
a) please pray that as i take this big step out to obey the call of God in my life. Pray that the journey to north India will be an impacting one and please pray for protection.
b) that I would find favor in the eyes of God and in everything I do and come across that I would encounter God in a special way every time.
c) that I would be physically strong and able, that i would learn the language and culture as soon as possible and be humble and adapt to the way of life up there.
d) Pray for me as I would be a man after God's own heart and also that my relationship with Him and with the people there would be authentic and that I would love them deeply.
