Moving forward

Greetings dear family and friends,

When depending on God is all that you can do when something needs to get done or for a door to open in our life. 

 This is a very big lesson that I have been taught since I was a child, and I have seen God do more than just open a door or get something done. He has been taking me on this journey where I go to him not only when I need something but with anything in my life.

 It’s been one of the most memorable journey that I have had during my time in Dharamshala, I have grown in many ways some lessons learn't the hard way but some in the most easy ways. 

This will be my last news letter from Dharamshala, I have enjoyed a lot for all the people I have been able to meet and to lose a place in my heart that will not be taken by anyone else.

 It’s been a full month since our cafe in Dharamshala has been opened; God is so awesome how he really works and brings in the right people at the right time.

I’m really blessed to leave Dharamshala with a peaceful heart and to know that our Father is sovereign over everything and that he will take care of the people and all the things that I was able to start or help improve also.

My last week in Naddi Village.

It was a great joy for me to be able to connect with the local village people before I leave and enjoy with them at the local wedding. 

Just to give you a glimpse into what I’ll be doing in Bangalore. It’s a great opportunity for me to join with two of my family members (Venilla & Anbalagan) and work with them as we start setting up our very own cafe in Bangalore city. 

 I will be leaving to Bangalore on the 11^th and start my next journey with the Lord. 

 

Here are some prayer points:

1.       Please pray for me as I move back to Bangalore that I’ll be able to give my best as we start working with this new project.

2.       Please pray for the people that I have been able to serve for the past 3 and half years that they will keep growing in the Lord and keep depending on him for everything.

3.       Please pray for the ministries in Dharamshala that Gods wisdom will lead them in everything that they do.

4.       Please pray for the new project that will start from the 13^th of Feb in Bangalore that everything will go as God will’s.

5.       Please pray for my life that I’ll be able to see more of Jesus in everything that I do.

Runing with God

A warm greeting to my dear family and friends,

It’s been a wonderful year and I’m very blessed to say that God has help me grow in many ways and to be able to keep expand g his kingdom through our love and service to the people he loves. 

Thank you so much for your prayers and your support the Cafe is finally set and running now. It’s so great to see how God has given me the gift of being able to help with the vision he put in my leaders heart to set a coffee house and through that to be able to just love on people and to serve the people he loves. It surely has been a journey and I’m glad that it’s all going well and it will keep growing.

At the same time I’m also blessed to say that God bring in people at the right time and that he opens doors that no man can shut. This group of friends have been very help full and also have played a vital role in being a part of the vision that is growing.

 A lot of help by even just in basic things like wiring the whole cafe or scrubbing the floor. Over all God brought in the right people at the right time when we needed them. 

I was also able to go home and enjoy Christmas and the 2^nd retreat of SondandDaughters. It was a wonderful time being able to share how was doing and what are my plans for this up coming year. It’s always a blessing to me personally of how God has set up these people by my side and helping me to keep walking in his ways.

Every needs encouragement and God had encouraged my heart in a very deep and special way during this retreat, all the sessions were really very helpful and I was able keep checking myself and how I can improve myself by just sitting in his presence and being able to let God heal me or just to hear him say how much he appreciates what I’m doing.

1.       Please pray for our cafe and for God to keep leading the team and for strength not to give up.

2.       Please pray for our friends who were able to help us, pray as they head to different places helping and loving on people as God loves.

3.       Please pray for all the words and encouragements that I received during the retreat will sink deep into my heat and as I walk into this new season for more Grace.

Seasonal Greeting & Up date on the Café

Greeting to my dear family and friends,

I’m really glad to say that the cafe is all most set up. A lot of Renovation work and finally we are seeing things falling in place. As a team we have been really busy with all the work but have been able to still meet and help encourage each other.

At the same time we were able to host  a outreach team from Nepal. It has been a blessing to have them as they helped us out with a lot of practical work and they also help lead us in worship and help connect with God as we have been running around with work and feel very tired.

This is going to be a very new season for all of us as we try to finalize some things and start the cafe towards the end of this month. We still need your prayers and your love as we see this dream come true.

Yes it’s been a journey for me personally iv learnt a lot of things by just helping set up the cafe and how important that I need wisdom from the lord and really involve him in everything that I do even if its hard work or just sitting down and listening to someone’s story or teaching at an English conversation class. 

As we all know that its Christmas season now and we were able to host a Christmas celebration for our students at our conversation class.

It was a great opturanity for all of us to be able to connect with the students and also explain to them the true meaning of Christmas and why it means so much to us. That he came down to save all mankind and not just a certain people group only.

Keep praying for the as they have heard the good news and for them to really keep having that interest to hear more and finally except him into their lives.

As a tem we really need your prayers for more wisdom and for grace with each other.

Here are a few prayer points:

1. Please pray for our Cafe as we finalize all the things.
2. Please pray for the Nepali team as they head back for safe journey and for them to keep growing in the Lord.
3. Please pray for the students as they were able to hear the Good news that they will keep having interest to know more of the living Father.
4. Please pray for the Cafe team as we move forward and finally start the cafe by the end of this month.
5. Please pray for me as I really wait on the Lord for his wisdom to keep leading me.

First Step into God's Story

Greeting from Dharamshala,

I want to take this chance to give you’ll a small view of my first month in my new season has been.

I got back from Manali after the one and half month of business training with my team and I had a wonderful timer there learning how God values about work and how making plans are really important as much as believing and having faith in God.

We started of by working in our kitchen by painted it and have been trying out some of our dishes for our menu.

It’s been fun yet very stressing because it’s a lot of work but working with the team has been helpful to get to know each other.

Finally the kitchen area is ready we just have to finish up some of our official work and finish up the rest of the portion painting and setting up the cafe area.

We as a team have started studying the book of Nehemiah and its really pulling us to a point where we have to step out from our comfort zones and really show what we believe in and build the wall courage in us.

 I am praying and asking to give me wisdom just as Nehemiah did when he was in the presence of the king and how God gave him wisdom to stand up for his people. 

We have been really busy with many things but we have also started trying out our menu and it’s seems to be going well so far.

Starting the Practical Part

Greetings from Manali, 

I am enjoying the business school it’s been a great opportunity to learn so many different things about the business world. We have been learning and doing a lot of practical work in this school.

I am so blessed to see 14 of us being able to take new biblical methods back into the Business world so that we can be world changers through business.

Over the past one and half month we have had many different topics that have really brought an eye opener for all of us. How from the creation God has been dealing with the business world, Today we can see one of the groups that have not been reached out with the living Gospel and the living values of how to run a business is in the business world.

It put a spark in me of seeing how if we start dealing with the world just as he would deal with it saying no to the ways of the world and being able to have a greater influence on them. I’m with 3 others in my team and we have been able to just sit down and make a really clear business plan and also decide what our values will be and how we will be able to have a balance so that we will not be pulled into the ways of this world.

We are in the last week of our school, over this time i am really thankful to God for being able to speak to me in many ways of how i will be able to bring his love and joy through the business world.

Our building is all most completed and we will be heading back to Dharamshalla this week. We are planning to open the Cafe towards the 15^th of November if all things go really well.
